CIPPE2018 was held in Beijing and AOSSCI attended it!

On March 27th, 2018, the 18th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition was held at the China International Exhibition Center (New Museum) in Beijing. 

AOSSCI attended it with X-swift, the self-developed pure electric VTOL fixed wing UAV.

Oil and gas pipeline transportation 

With the rapid development of national economy, the demand for energy is increasing. China's oil and gas pipelines have been covering the whole country, and connecting with the overseas oil and gas network.

Oil and natural gas pipelines are the energy arteries of the country and occupy an extremely important position in the energy field. Because of the flammable and explosive characteristics of pipeline conveying medium, its safety problems in output, storage, transportation and maintenance are particularly important. How to ensure high efficiency and low cost is the top priority for pipeline safety.

Powerful and reliable VTOL fixed wing UAV

The X-series of UAV, developed by AOSSCI, is flexible enough to be used in different application scenarios.

Because the large area of oil and gas field, high cost, large workload, long cycle and high risk, there must be a solution.

With 120 minutes of endurance time, X-swift can adapt to large area operations in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia, and it can be applied to patrolling tasks of large oil fields such as Karamay oilfield and Sulige gas field.

It is difficult for personnel to arrive and handle with the complex road condition.

In an emergency, X-Swift can fly to the scene the first time and perform one-press mission management, autonomously completing the flight operations. It is portable and can be applied in many complicated geographical conditions such as deserts, Gobi, dangerous hills and oceans. With 5000 meters of service ceiling, and strong anti-wind capacity, it is suitable for all kinds of high altitude and bad environment.

The traditional way of inspection is inefficient, and the workload and maintenance are large.

X-Swift can achieve 24 hours of day and night monitoring. 

Equipped with pure electric power and modular configuration, it has strong stability and high reliability, which can minimize the secondary damage caused by oil and gas inspection. It is the best choice for all oil and gas fields.

It can carry a variety of mission payloads in the application, such as the orthophoto camera, the tilt camera, the pod camera, the infrared lens, the combustible gas detection module and so on, so as to ensure the safety of oil and gas production, storage, transportation, maintenance and other links.

Oil and gas field and petroleum pipeline inspection

X-Swift carries high resolution camera to patrol the tough areas of oil and gas field that cannot be done by human, and sends back the information to the ground station in real time. 

At night, infrared thermal imaging can be used to patrol oil and gas pipelines buried underground. Through thermal imaging pictures or videos, the leakage of pipelines, oil and gas theft and so on can be found to ensure the safety of oil and gas transportation.

X-Swift can accomplish feasibility study in long distance transmission pipeline and oil and gas field, and complete the measurement of the construction drawings at all stages that ensures the high efficiency and timely information feedback.

X-Swift carries zoom camera to have real-time inspection of the purification plant area, and finds out the hidden danger in time, which ensures the safety of the oil and gas storage and treatment.

X-Swift is equipped with visible and infrared dual light pod, which has the ability of monitoring day and night. Besides, it can detect, lock and track suspected molecules around the oil and gas field, and attack the criminal suspects, ensuring the safety and effectively preventing the loss of state resources.
