Teammate, take the baton! - Interconnection between GCS and UAS in Different Places, X-Swift Remote Seamless Handover Control

AOSSCI recently assisted Shandong Liaocheng Electric Power to complete a high-quality and highly efficient power line patrol demonstration with X-Swift relying on its remote take-off and landing.  In this task, the aircraft took off from the power supply bureau courtyard (A), flew to the centralized power supply station (B) at a distance of eight kilometers, took over from another place at a distance of three kilometers from the power supply station (B) in Yuji town at a point (B '), and took photographs of the periphery of the power supply station B in Yuji town in circling, and completed the tower patrol mission.

The portable X-GCS ground station can quickly read the flight path at the signal switching point and plan the subsequent flight path, and switch the data transmission and image transmission at the same time to complete the task of the second half.  In the remote area with vast terrain, the aircraft-GSC-integrated link transmission will ensure the realization of aircraft multi-range switching and multi-station cooperative control to the maximum extent.


Two GCS remote handover control can not only expand the operating range of UAV to a greater extent, but also maximize the use of the UAV, improve the efficiency of large-scale operation, and promote the optimal configuration of UAV groups.
